On August 27th, 2021, Jordan Peele and Nia DaCosta brought us Candyman. Backed by an amazing performance from Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, the movie flows really well, while bringing some good gore and horror back to the theaters. A24 has been killing it in the horror genre the past few years, and this film helps bring back the feeling the original Candyman brought to us when we were kids.
