Brian: Thank you so much for joining us today and we are going to be talking about Amazon's new super R-rated masterpiece, The Boys. The Boys is one of the best shows on television right now and we're going to start off with overall thoughts on the show and we'll kick it off with our guest Nicole.

Nicole: Well what is more terrifying than a person with superpowers…… A psychopath with superpowers The void of sanity to me it kind of has a reverse synopsis of X-men. A lot of the humans misplace their fear and discriminated against the people that work sure you can well the boys for the most part you have misplaced glorification and reliance on them and it really shows you what you can get away with with money and power. I love the show I really do

Nicole:  nice what what kind of what got you into it was a people on social media or did you like how do you find out about the show I have Amazon prime first thing that came up yeah they have a public who have no beginning of the year you have no idea if you're going to like it but you're just like what Amazon prime that I'm gonna like it's not like it Jordan what about you %HESITATION I and I love the show I've done I love how violent gritty this %HESITATION definitely different take on the %HESITATION the superhero genre which I knew I think we all need it yeah god yes I mean with Marvel and DC just park for DC which is model pulled out not and and don't get me wrong they're good movies but I'm tired of all you know I mean Ryan I'm gonna still go and see all of them when they come out but I'm just so tired of like seeing here's your superhero here's the villain there's the problem and here's the end of the movie like with the boys I don't know what's going to happen in season two now this specially you know after how this season ended and %HESITATION all the questions I have which I have one huge main with what I've got one question that I can just got spoiled for me actually but %HESITATION no no no no no no I I am TV sport it for me I don't know if I digress I did as I love the show and it's %HESITATION yes just so bloody it's so much bloody fun and the thing that got me into it is the like he's at Amazon prime was like here's the idiot watch this it might get yet yes Sir I'm not Texas and %HESITATION %HESITATION so I started watching the first upset on my arm and I'm not going like this and then I saw Simon Pegg and I was like I don't like this yeah and then that bitch got taken out by a super hero just sitting there talking about %HESITATION they were talking and they're talking about Billy Joel in which a train just comes in and takes her out and I was like %HESITATION yes they would just gonna get my I was I'm pretty sure I was in there like doing some retarded like eating Cheetos not paying attention robin that she's sure or like doing cocaine or something like items that we would wait wait wait wait wait everything was in slow motion his face is getting splashed by blood and I was like oh no I got to watch that again right and I watch like four more times because like easily that's what I was like yeah you got to watch old we prematurely call that because I was like hell they on the show might be shit later on but it turned out it wasn't in my first text to him was after she died I was like what so that we forgot to mention earlier there are gonna be a few spoilers ahead so be on the look out for that but %HESITATION I agree you know I really love this take on the super hero job I mean you had it right on the head we we need something different you know Marvel's been gray DC's band you know that I'm up and down this easily the thing they're still there with Warner brothers but this to me is a very refreshing break and %HESITATION escape from your your regular quote unquote like super hero job to me it's very similar it's like Hancock meets justice league meets bright part and %HESITATION yeah that's the best way to kind of sum it up in seeing these heroes that are all you know to the %HESITATION %HESITATION public you know gods and perfect this and the other and they are far from perfect they're just as fucked up as the rest of us are white and what makes it worse is that they have superhuman powers and abilities they don't have they don't have the hubris that comes along with %HESITATION like we at we have to do with complications the shit that we do but they don't look now but what the fuck is homeland are gonna worry about splits a person and happy right now but I like you Simon Pegg seeing him on there was was really clutch and as I was reading and %HESITATION tree pirate IMDb too I didn't know that this was actually a comic book series so I thought this was completely original this was a series from two thousand and six to two thousand twelve called the boys and originally was windstorm has it and they were owned by DC in DC canceled on after the six issue much like DC would not smart planning on their part not at all so they got picked up by dynamite entertainment so they re issued a six %HESITATION the six original comics that %HESITATION when storm had but with an intro by Simon Pegg so here we are in the comics is actually based on Simon Pegg though so I thought that was really cool that they have them in the show and just one of the very very %HESITATION Gretchen I'm you know that the show has but overall definitely enjoyed it the %HESITATION the big twist at the end which we'll leave that one thing we will not spoil lead up to it I'm you know I'm probably gonna we'll try we'll try not to spoil it but %HESITATION yeah it's been it's been very enjoyable just eight great episodes so %HESITATION as far as you know do you have %HESITATION a favorite characters favorite episodes in the cold I have a favorite character okay %HESITATION this one definitely believe which all favorite okay Billy butcher is my favorite nice %HESITATION I'm actually very curious about king woke me can you give me what she's actually she was %HESITATION could Tana in no is a really interesting to see her and watching but she stepped up yeah yeah got a good role yeah she's very stylish but I'll be a world yeah not not a word in suicides she's really no hope for this she even knows English yes you'll get on the show she was so you should make sure would be the %HESITATION that one too her her own fucking black nor don't say one word the whole fuckin sear you will get that last year no she doesn't go ahead of anyone else since I you know I was thinking that a lot of these characters though even though it is very refreshing to see super here's on this flight they're very familiar right do you have a home winner who is kind of of Wonder Woman looks not action she didn't know too much she didn't ever car scene was really dope but even that you just landed in the car on there that I mean she's actually they walked into that she looks like Starfire should more like Starfire right it's like an alien but star yes and then a train what he's like quicksilver the flash yeah exactly greed yeah but I you know I was really confused about a trains girlfriend I don't remember her name %HESITATION pop popcorn popcorn freak so they make these super here's out to be thank you cannot destroy can I go on yes she died with heroin overdose I know someone needles yeah for yeah if you're human why yeah %HESITATION %HESITATION you have a pop she kind of just %HESITATION she was a strange character for me at all because she was so up and down like first I'd even though she was a god damn superhero now getting I thought she was just like a eighties porn person I am not sure about your videos and everyone loved her but like I was like are you in the hot but %HESITATION and then this you just I mean she has two little yeah yeah but you did squash a man's head we'll meet with her thighs so while he was either but that but then she got she got really it kind of annoying for me but %HESITATION %HESITATION and I I start out like you know because you know she was the quintessential like that's that's kind of what I I what happened with %HESITATION butcher's daughter wife which is why I like I at first I was like well fuck homeland or raped his wife but now we don't know that for sure right and she's like I said I was gonna split she still I'm well now and I'm like I don't know what the fuck to think about billing right like I don't know if he's he truly thinks that she was raped there like what he truly thinks she was okay as homegirl the Margaret check or whatever that's what she led him to believe he kind of was very vague so she manipulated him which in turn he manipulated you also vicious cycle them I feel like a lot of people that know and actually know me feel like my favorite character would be the deep because I was most closely %HESITATION except for like some modicum people spend like a not guilty that was one of the most so that was my that's my both disturbing thing it was like she was just she was like only like veener self that was more deserving than anything else so you got the alleged that he had had a life the wheels though I was like oh but anyway my favorite character is Frenchie just because I did like I could I could seriously just watch him and listen to him just talk and it would be awesome for me because as accents awesome and he's that he's kind of he's kind of crazy to me yeah he's kind of currency it and %HESITATION I feel like my thoughts are the same way it like if I thought how he spoke I would probably not speak anymore I become give echo and is there bottom that's one of the things I like about Billy but you're too is his sense of humor matched with his his accent was was it was there I'm not he was a hell of a leader you know no matter what you said no matter where he steered them they follow them that's true the one thing the one thing I will say I did like his arm spice girl speech I I like I like his speeches but it it kind of it kind of seems like as the episodes went on like their eight episode I feel like we heard six speeches never miss a call I guess things going to rally the troops yeah like at like it but the but the fourth one I was like okay like and then and then other people started doing speeches like well I'll fuckin arm his friend you did what you did want a mother's milk and I was just like just so and he didn't even make it Hey you doing it you're right you're right right and he was just like dammit I forget was speaking was about like sour patch kids maybe I'm thinking about sour patch kids right now that sounds about right but I mean that those three characters along our four with mothers milk but those four characters alone I mean they they took what humans are into her movies and like explode it like it was water humans capable capable of truly and creating a plan and destroying something that everyone believes indestructible right and I thought that was super power when I love their perspective of the all of it yeah because they're they're just as broken as the heroes are but I at least know how to come together heroes it they're literally all about themselves even though they're the seven they're not really so sure they're sociopath other separate are all separate either brought together you know I think of the the V. you're scared of him yeah I am too all my god the scene where %HESITATION he the the he's outside the plane in the dark clouds like he's waving the girls like
