When it comes to the unveiling of the newest trailers for the biggest movies there's the Super Bowl and San Diego Comic-Con. While the Super Bowl gives us 30-second teasers of the spring and summer line up, SDCC covers everything coming out for the rest of the year, as well as the slate of pop culture feature films and shows for next year too.  It's basically the World Series for franchise film lovers, tv show aficionados, and comic book fanatics. 

Luckily, those of us who aren't in San Diego to see the footage firsthand, don't get to miss out on the trailer action. Sure it would be cool to see the celebrities behind the characters we love in person, but this is the next best thing, and we don't have to wait in line for hours to get into the various panels at SDCC. Zero Dark Nerdy will continue to add to this post as the trailers come out, so in the meantime enjoy the trailers for IT Chapter 2, Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, and Top Gun: Maverick, which dropped a trailer on Thursday morning with a surprise appearance from Tom Cruise.
