E3 Day 3
The last day of presentations from the main stage is today, and there was only one press conference, Nintendo. Here are the highlights from the Mario brand:
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be getting two new characters before the end of the year, the hero from Dragon Quest and Banjo-Kazooie.
- Luigi’s Mansion 3 will be available later this year, as will Cadence of Hyrule and Daemon X Machina
- The Switch will be getting several ports over the next year, including:
- The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening
- The Witcher : Wild Hunt
- Resident Evil 5 and 6
- Panzer Dragoon
- Alien: Isolation
- Dauntless
- Spyro the Dragon Trilogy
- Minecraft Dungeons
- The highly anticipated Animal Crossing: New Horizon has been delayed until “early 2020”
- The only Pokémon news mentioned was that the upcoming Shield and Sword titles will feature Pokéball control, albeit limited control.
Nintendo wrapped up their presentation by announcing that the sequel to the Switch’s 4th bestselling game, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, is in development.
